My american dream

"I have a dream..."
...that all your hypocrisies falls apart, with all your malls, and your outlets, and your brands and your made up girls......that you will stop ignoring that you're as weak as the rest of the world, that you're part of it;...that you will teach your people that television and coke is not enough for a life of joy......that you will stop ignoring that America is not only made of Americans, that it has been and continues to be built by every one who lives inside it......that you will you use your intelligence and humor for things that matter and not only to build bombs and to create tv shows to distract people from them......that you will praise your true heroes and make them an example for your kids......that you will let your artists be, that you will not just pretend and watch them all the time......that you will let your kids learn that there is a huge world and that exploring it is not going around with a camera taking pictures and saying how homesick you are.......that you will admit how great you are, not because of money, but because of jazz and Tarantino , and Edgar Allan Poe......that you'll admit that you have neighbors and that they can be part of your family......that you will admit that I'm you neighbor and that I am part of your family and that is exactly what gives me the right to dream about you and for you...
